Witch BIBI: A New Story from the Puuung World

A painter who walked away from his studio without a second thought — unable to put brush to canvas, unsure of what he'd been making all along. A witch named BIBI, visiting this world on vacation, on a very specific mission: to find the most extraordinary broom she has ever seen. They meet on a train going somewhere neither of them planned.

Witch BIBI is a 20-minute hand-drawn animated film — the first story to expand beyond D and M, and the first step into a wider Puuung World.

About the Film

Directed by Puuung. Traditional 2D hand-drawn animation Produced in Korean with multilingual subtitles

Witch BIBI began as a single frame — a witch who made a brief, unplanned appearance in a seasonal animation years ago. She was too interesting to leave behind.

The storyboard is complete. The characters are alive on the page. When the time comes, they will move.

This film is being made with the same warmth you've always known from the Puuung World — and a little bit of magic added in.

A Note from Puuung

I started drawing in 2014 because I wanted to be happy. I drew small things — a shared meal, a forehead kiss, the way afternoon light falls on two people napping together.

Over time, those small things became a world. And I've always wanted to show you more of it.

The Kickstarter campaign didn't reach its goal. But the story didn't go anywhere.

Witch BIBI is my way of saying: there are more stories here. More characters. More moments worth drawing.

I'm not ready to stop. And I don't think I have to.

Thank you for still being here.

The Kickstarter campaign has ended. $100,237 pledged — 1,717 backers — 40% of the $250,000 goal.

The campaign didn't reach its goal. But 1,717 people said yes to this story, and that's not nothing.

The storyboard is complete. The characters are ready. We're finding our way to production — one step at a time.
Thank you for being here at the beginning.
