Why crowdfunding?
Because views don’t fund animation.
Long videos. Short videos.
Millions of views.
But views are not a budget.
A 20-minute hand-drawn animated film needs:
• a professional team
• over a year of full-time production
• voice acting
• original music & sound design
No platform pays enough—
not YouTube, not Shorts, not Reels, not TikTok.
Short-form videos may reach more people.
They help me stay visible.
But they do not generate the production budget
for a film like this.
Right now, I continue creating
through small ad revenue
and the support of a small number of fans
who purchase from my official online store each year.
I am deeply grateful.
But this structure allows me to survive—
not to expand.
So I had two choices:
Continue sustaining myself
within a small, manageable structure.
Or take a real step
toward building something bigger—with you.
Crowdfunding is the only way
I can begin this film responsibly.
It is not “extra income.”
It is the production budget itself.
If we reach the goal, we make the film.
If we don’t, the film cannot be made.
That’s why the funding goal looks big.
Because animation is big.
