The Second Chapter of My Journey
Share
I've been wanting to tell you where I am these days — what my months actually look like now.

1 |Through the Happy Mail Club, I've gone back to where I started — illustration. Each month I sit down and make one detailed drawing, the way I did at the very beginning, and a small piece of happiness arrives at your door: printed on paper you can hold, not a file, not a post — a quiet reminder that love lives in the small, ordinary moments of everyday life. It travels only to the Mail Club, into your hands and nowhere else.

2 |Alongside it, I've taken on something new: a one-minute animation series. (Still stumbling through it, still learning as I go.) Ten minutes that every couple knows — minutes you may have lived yourself — gathered and folded into a single minute. It's slower, denser work than the short clips I used to share — but I've come to believe one good minute is worth more than several made in a hurry, and that this is the kind of practice that feeds a longer film someday.

3 |And that film is where all of this is heading. Over the years of drawing and animating, a bigger dream took shape — to make hand-drawn short films of my own. Witch BIBI is the story I wrote to begin it: a 20-minute film, storyboard finished, characters waiting to move. The crowdfunding was my first attempt to build it together with you. It didn't reach its goal, but the story didn't go anywhere; only the path has. Instead of one campaign, I'm gathering it slowly: as the Mail Club grows, as books, postcards, art prints, and custom illustrations find their way into your homes, it all adds up — little by little — into what it takes to build a team and finally make it. I don't know when that day will come — I only know I want to get there hand in hand with you, the way I always meant to, and not with outside hands.
Something in me has changed, too. Now that my months have a shape — one illustration, one-minute animation — the scattered worry is gone. I only think about one thing now: making them better.
And if you'd like to be part of this journey, the Happy Mail Club is the simplest, most direct way to join. Thank you for waiting with me.
With all my heart,
Puuung
