the twenty fourth story I picked up is by Ashley Leung. We were in a long distance relationship during our four years in college. Last Christmas, I visited him in England and we traveled to Edinburgh. I convinced him to go ice-skating with me at the Christmas Market, even though it was cold and he didn't know how to skate. The last time we had gone skating together was eight years ago, soon after we started dating. When we got on the ice, it was so slippery and bumpy that both of us nearly fell, but we held onto each other. A few minutes before our session was over, he challenged me to skate around the rink once without holding onto the railing. We were extremely slow (and frightened!) but we made it! My trip was also special for another important reason: during my visit, he proposed! We got married this past August, and it still feels like a dream to be married to the person I’ve been dating since I was thirteen ♥ PS I really love your drawings-- I used to send them to my boyfriend (now husband!) when we were in different countries!
